We came here as it was a public holiday, we were a large family group, and nowhere else was available. It wasn’t too busy as it was well past the lunchtime rush. The staff are throughly incompetent. They didn’t realise a dish was not available for 15’ after the order was given, and it took another 35’ to bring out the dish, well after everyone else had been served. Great foodie experience. Chef really knows his stuff, and explained all the kinds of fish. Great to fond good Japanese food in TKO We went for the 15 course menu, and had a great time as chef explained each fish as well as some of the tricks for preparing and eating them. My fiancée, who's nickname for me is Momo (so that was a laugh), took me here just after I got off a flight. The décor is 70's retro (definitely avoiding chic). You are greeted with a warm welcome, without it being at all cloying. Service was quick and friendly. Everything was super tasty, starting with something as simple as a popadom. The island shake was a good rejuvenator. We then split an astonishing kebab, and moved on to a fab veggie curry and some dal that was super fresh. The spices were fresh and well balanced on all the dishes, a feat many Indian/Asian restaurants in the West would not be able to replicate. The naam was also fresh and full of flavours.
