worst dining experience in Hong Kong

We reserved a table to celebrate two birthdays about a month ago. When we arrived we were seated at a tight table where we struggled to get in because of the wine racks right above our heads. Finally, we asked to be moved to the other side which is a bit more roomier. It all started with our appetizer. We got the seafood platter which was delicious and fresh and it arrived in a timely manner (because it doesn't require any cooking). I ordered a soup and a salad. However, my salad came first because the waiter decided for me that I should eat my soup as my entree. I thought he should have at least ask but whatever. (This isn't the most frustrating part) During the courses of our meals, we had to constantly ask for refills for water and bread. We waited for 45 minutes after we finished our appetizer before our entrees arrived. My friends ordered the pan seared australian ocean trout and when it came, it was salmon. When we inquired about it to the waiter, he was just like "trout is the same thing as salmon" and when my friend further inquired, waiter was just like "do you want to see the menu again?" Wow...was that rude or what? I expect a bit more professionalism and hospitality. Not to mention the menu was a bit misleading - Though trout is a salmon species but trout is not the same as salmon. seafood platter - The only dish that was enjoyable; seafood was fresh and well-presented bread - though it was free; bread are only standard, nothing spectacular the Australian trout fillet (or should I say salmon fillet) and Cod with caviar were both below expectation. The fish was not cooked thoroughly in the mid section. The risotto was extremely salty. Caesar salad- could have used a bit more lettuce; dressing was standard; served with bacon bits (not freshly made), Parmesan cheese and croûtons lobster bisque tasted like regular tomato soupFurthermore, I asked for more bread to go with my SOUP ENTREE ... It never came. The waitress asked if i still wanted the bread after I was done with my soup. (Seriously?) :(Further to our frustration, we brought cupcakes for the birthday girls. So we asked the waitress if there are cake cutting charges..waitress said "no but it's a $100". At that point, I have had enough so we just asked for the bill and took our bday celebration elsewhere. Don't assume no reservations needed because it's at a food market. We were sat outside since all indoor seating by the windows were full. It is truly just a cafe so don't expect much. The Greek salad I got had a few pieces of leaves and olives topped with fried calamari. Honestly, this is a bit misleading. The pizza was not bad as our expectation was already low after receiving the salad. I wouldn't recommend eating here nor would I come back for more. I expected a lil more seafood in a HKD2XX seafood salad. I literally had 3 shrimps and 2 pieces of scallops over a conservative bed of lettuce. My fiance's garganelli with truffle cream sauce was alright. The only thing is that they ran out of garganelli and had to subsitute it with regular spaghetti or penne. Regarding the service, we were not offered any condiments for our meals i.e. pepper for salad; Our wine glasses were empty on several occasions.
