I had a beef pho. Although their pho is not the traditional pho, it still tasted great! In fact, I find their pho more delicious than the traditional pho. Instead of having a pre-flavoured soup base, their soup base is just clear broth, which means that you get to enjoy the raw, cooked taste and texture of the originally raw thin beef slices which are cooked in front of you on your table in the hot clear broth. The clear broth ensures that the flavour is not distorted and that they cannot use low-quality beef, otherwise it will taste terrible. They are a very honest shop. Also, everything--including the drinks--is served in disposable containers, which ensures hygiene, unlike 津津食店 in Kennedy Town, which has improperly washed bowls and plates. The cafe was very dirty, run down, and in need of serious repairs. There was a considerable amount of rust both inside and outside. The food also tasted so-so. The noodle soup also had a very slight metallic taste, probably from the old broken faucets and water pipes. This restaurant has been here for more than 10 years. I am surprised that it hadn't been added online anywhere earlier.Anyway, this restaurant is pretty cheap yet has decent food and a decent atmosphere. I have only been here for dinner, so I cannot say on dim sum.…Read More
