Had some errands to run at Sai Ying Pun, an area my husband and I are not familiar with. Found Electric Ave through XXXXX and boy we were pleased with our find!Had a taste of their classic burger, one with cheddar cheese and the other with Stilton cheese, Rosemary fries, Specialty bone marrow chips...with homemade ketchup. EVERYTHING was super delicious. For drinks, though they have only limited selection of wine, they were well picked! Don’t expect a fine dining kind of service...it’s a burger joint. Was attracted to the drinks and lovely glasses they are served in....that’s how I bookmarked the location. Came here to give it a try. Everything was awesome...service, food and drinks! We tried 3 different cocktails & 1 mocktail for my son...they were excellent. Had Pupu platter (for 2-4 pax) & curry chicken...to be shared by 2 adults and 1 kid. Portion was just nice. Checked around for a new place to try out around Central and decided on this restaurant based on reviews in Open Rice and photos. Came in a family of 5. Tried their special clay wrapped chicken, dumplings and noodles. Everything was excellent!! My li’l kid was craving for BBQ pork bun and shrimp dumpling. Though they don’t serve those at dinner, the waitress was so kind to get kitchen to specially prepare this for my kid. First visit, discovered via Groupon. Overall experience was awesome. Details starts right at the door step...from the decorations at entrance right to the washroom ;)Food was excellent. We had flaming pork ribs and apple duck. Something different...wouldn't hv tried cooking it at home. Whole family enjoyed the meal...with a nice Russian music playing at the back. Finally had the chance to visit after hearing much raving by my friends. Overall, service and ambience was excellent but food was below my expectation. Ordered nasi lemak, fried kueh teow and wan tan mee. It's all tasty but VERY greasy and sambal was not spicy, tasted like off-the-shelf sambal. Teh tarik was diluted and serving size was small. My favourite amongst all was the side order of kaya bread - the kaya was authentic and generous. Went at 10.30am with family of 5. Service was good despite us sitting upstairs. Crowd starting building up after 11.30am; so good to be there early.Food quality was good; loved the piggy custard bun and beef dumpling. Milk tea was kind of average. Decided to explore for new place and found the reviews encouraging. Lived up to its feedback received. Arrived at about 1145 am and Place was crowded and kept coming. Went there for brunch with family. We had Australian breakfast set, avocado & eggs and eggs croissant. Coffee was good. Overall, Quality of food was excellent with great food presentation. Everything was fresh and sauces were well balanced; not greasy at all. Ambience was clean and comfortable. Will go back there in a heartbeat.
