We came to this place because we were looking to have some lunch as my wife and I were hungry in the Wanchai area and we really felt like sushi or sashimi. We usually rely on Open Rice to find tasty restaurants in Hong Kong and this one was the closest. As we sat down my wife commented on the lack of choice on the sushi / sashimi menu and asked if we should just head to a different place and I said no because I was sohungry. Big mistake. The unagi (eel) was crunchy and tasted like it was yesterday's. Which is exactly what the other arriving fish looked like too. Very disappointed. Should have looked at the breakdown of "good" and "ok" on the ratings as they say it all - but this place isn't even close to OK. Bahce's and its team are one of the pinions of Mui Wo's culture.  One of the oldest and one of the tastiest restaurants on Lantau.  The staff are wonderful, the place itself is charming, and there is always fun to be had, people to be met, and good food to be had.  It is totally children-friendly, with rainbow-ranged crayons and paper to keep the young'uns busy while the old'uns catch up.  There is almost always live music on Fridays between 9 and 11 PM for you live music lovers out there.  I've been there once, I've been there a hundred times.  I've been eating there regularly over the past decade, and it's pretty much just like the USD before they unlinked it from gold: it's a standard.  You just can't go wrong on Lantau's famous Turkish Restaurant (for all those who can't say Bahce's correctly, which is all of us except the owner/founder!) :-)  The only reason it's not getting 5/5 in all ffields, is that when you're getting 5 stars for everything, you'll probably pay a little more than most places around it.  See you there!…Read More
