If my parents' disappointment in me were presented on a dish, this would be it. By far the worst eggs benedict I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Eggs bennies are my usual order at brunch, but this one at Elephant Grounds was just infuriating. The yolk was two seconds shy of being hard-boiled. The hollandaise sauce was flavorless. They even used toast instead of the usual muffin. Using toast as the base isn't uncommon, but in this situation, not even a knife could carve out that thing. Third time coming to this restaurant and this will be my last time. Awful service (our server's name is Quby). We were asked to order tea, but since we were still waiting for a few others to arrive we asked nicely to order later and Quby rolled her eyes at us. When we ordered 4 sets for 5 people to share I guess she wasn't too happy with it and she started giving us attitude. We were still working on our appetizer but she started bringing every dish in the set out to our table. We were just one dish away from dessert....when we were still working on our appy!! Ridiculous.
