I stumbled on this restaurant while looking at the directory in Macau Yat Yuet. Found out that they were fairly new and just opened in November. They had a decent range of appetizers, sashimi, skewers and cooked food. I ordered the chicken skin and fried fish which had a mixture of macadamia nuts, some herbs and pieces of squid. I normally don’t like squid but this tasted really good. Then I ordered the toro, Saba and a seasonal fish which were super fresh and tasty. The flounder, uni and crab roe were equally fresh and tasty. We then ordered ox tongue skewers which was perfectly grilled and so tender. Fish soup was not gamely at all and was rich and tasty. I gave been here twice and the food and wine here are so good it’s unbelievable how they price this so low! The proveleta cheese was above average with the spice they add. The tuna ceviche had the perfect blend of taste. Just enough sour to open up your palette. Then the steaks arrived and omg. Best fillet I have had this year. Juicy and tender even though it isn’t as marbled as other cuts. Perfectly cooked high quality meat. Unbelievable I paid so little when at other high end restaurants it’s easily 50% more expensive. Wine was decent. Surprisingly this place was quite empty on a Tuesday night. Only two tables all night. This place deserves more customers and more people need to come and enjoy this amazing restaurant! Very highly recommends for a great steak. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants where they serve standard quesadillas, chimichangas , enchiladas and burritos and that’s it. This place takes all these and go beyond that. I ordered an avocado ceviche and the flavours were intense. Sweet avocado with the freshness of the cucumber and zest of lemon. Perfect combination when paired with their fried tortillas. Then came the Birria beef stew with rice. Amazing taste with the sweet sour and spicy combination hitting the right notes. The beef is so tender and flavorful. Excellent excellent dish. Finally we had the Al Pastor Fajita and the mix of cheese, pork, capsicums and onions had me in tears of joy. Best fajita I’ve had for many years. Omg I will be coming back here for more. A really terrible experience

I saw the high ratings that most reviewers gave this place and thought I would give it a try. The price looked reasonable and I was craving for a steak. Went into the restaurant and I must say their offering in the menu looked really good. I ordered a steak to be done medium and when it came I was utterly utterly utterly disappointed. I say utterly three times because there was nothing to like about the steak. I ordered medium and it came well done. I cut it in half and there was absolutely no pink in the middle. Then to make things worse, the half I started to eat was mainly veins fat and very very tough. I asked for a replacement. To the credit of the staff, they did not hesitate to replace and immediately saw the problem. I thought that was nice and eagerly awaited the replacement. When the replacement came I was yet again disappointed. The steak came medium well. Again overdone. I cut in the middle and there was a slight sliver of pink. But very slight and in a small portion of the steak. Absolutely terrible. I reflected the problem again. But they seemed to not want to do anything about it. I gave up, ate the steak and walked away. They did not even bother to give me a discount for the extremely bad experience with their food. Needless to say, I will never come back again. Perhaps it's only their poor quality of the steak and poor culinary skill. But it is enough for me never to be back again. For $318 for a piece of sirloin, it was rubbish. I brought my colleagues to this place for our year end team dinner and everybody loved it. The buffet spread had beef and pork stews with garlic rice as well as a kind of fried rice. They also had a salad bar and different types of ham. They were all excellent, especially the stews. The meats that arrived were all so tasty every one of them deserved an applause. Roast beef, sirloin steak, pork ribs, chicken mid wings and drumsticks, lamb chops, flank steak, were all well marinated and cooked to perfection. My wife really doesn't like Italian food and I had to do a lot to convince her to try it. I saw the ratings and glowing reviews and thought I just had to try it outWe ordered pear salad, porcini soup, pork chops, lobster porcini spaghetti , lasagna, and spaghetti carbonara. Every dish was excellent. Pear salad had the right amount of dressing, and it was well tossed so every piece had some dressing on it. Pear was perfect. And good combination of walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese to add to the flavours. Porcini soup was fragrant and delicious. Full of fresh porcini and not some silly cream soup pretending to be a mushroom soup. Pork chops were perfectly cooked. Layer of fat added to the wonderful sweet taste and well paired with helping of mashed potato and red wine sauce. Lobster porcini tasted amazing. Real chunks of lobster could be found and it did not taste too much tomato. I normally dislike tomato based spaghetti but this is something I don't mind ordering again. Lasagna was full of cheese oozing out from the first touch. One of the best lasagnas I have tried in a while. Spaghetti carbonara was made on a cheese block and brought out on the block before it was served. Cheese was not overpowering but this is not the traditional carbonara. That was the only negative as I can tell there is cream in it but I'm sure most can't tell the difference. Still the taste was fantastic. Would definitely come back again for this. I have to compliment the service here as they were very good throughout. Some of the staff need more training on the food items available and what is in it, but their attitude was excellent and you can tell they are trying and they escalated and brought the person who knew. Cantonese and English were fine here so I don't understand the negative reviews on the staff languages abilities further down. This is a place I would strongly recommend for Italian food. We had a group of 6 people and they got us a table immediately. We ordered chicken rice, stingray, kang kong belachan and curry fish head. Environment was alright and the staff were friendly. However, only the chicken rice and kang kong belachan were nice. Probably the best chicken rice in hong kong. But the stingray had chilli on the wrong side of the fish and was probably over cooked.
