We ordered pad Thai, wagyu beef noodle and watercress, fry pork skin. Mango passion ice. All the dishes are very very salty and rich. We can’t finish all of them and ended up wash off the sauce with water. It was horrible and we won’t come again. The drink was almost $60 dollars, basically everything was over priced. We queued for 45 minutes and the space was limited and very crowd. Poor service due to lack of waitress, water has not been refilled.Ceiling very low, noisy and not spacious as tables are very packed.refused to serve bread until 6:30 and we were starving. the fish and chips is good and crunchy while fresh.rib eye was normal and the seasonal menu was just right, nothing really special.the place has not been renovated for years and the ceiling was low makes the place very noisy wherea nowadays we got lots to choose from.…Read More

It was my second visit, purpose was for our company dinner. We went in and ask for a table for 4, got rejected for reservation as they only take people starting 5. We stood there and waited for 30 mintues and we got one at last.We were being treated like a bystanders for almost 10 minutes even the table is ready, the reception desk came and ask, "where is your other friend?" we said they will be here in short, she said she would not be able to give us the table till every body is here, as they have to make sure they can charge the 4 person per head after we took the table. We were pissed off and i told the waitress, "just make it 4 person no matter they come or not, count it on my bill!" She said ok!!The whole night was ruined, we weren't in the mood to try the steaks or the bread....its our second visit and will be the last as well.Poor service and so disrepcting on the customers.We ordered desserts at the end and they tasted ok, quite expensive and over price.…Read More

I had a green tea ice cream with mini white mochi comes with $48. Let alone the ice cream is around $36.I personally think the ice cream is smooth, milky and creamy enough. However; the price is somewhat unreasonable especially the extra 4 mochi will increase from $36 to $48.  I also think the ice cream itself is also over priced, maybe due to the high rent of location along the Lee Garden. Due to limited space you will be told to wait outside near the pavement, the server will bring your take out over, i received my order around 5 mins, luckily the weather was still ok.I will definitely visit the shop again, it would be better if it could be cheaper.…Read More

We arrived at about 6pm and there were plenty of seats. You do not have to pick from the menu as there isn't one, basically everything is on the table. A $258 combo of a 10oz steak with unlimited fries. You just have to pick your drinks.The served baguette was crunchy and chewy, served with a well blended home made butter.The steak was juicy and i had it medium rare, same as my husband. We ordered Applie pie and Chestnut Custard for desserts and they were delicious, freshly made by the chefs daily. I have been longing for a Native Hot Dog shop and found this newly opened in Sheung Wan and i gave it a try, sausages are quite good but lack juicy as comparing to Toronto, toppings are free and lots to chose from (I chose radish, jalapeno, bacon bites, olives, onions, corn with ketchup and mustard), they offer beet too.Unfortunately, I was gonna try their poutine but no stock and so does the gravy. I would say Hot Dog is a very common and general food in Toronto which costs less than $40 versus $65 in HK is quite pricy and you are not enjoying any "quality" food as we all know sausages are not healthy. Environment: it is new and clean, but its totally opened area and the ventilation system has flown back into the restaurant when it's windy. GIven that HK has a really bad air circulation, lorries and vans kept passing by so basically its not a good place to dine in. As while you enjoying your hot dog, you breathing in the gas pollution from cars and so does the ventilation system of Yonge Piggies. Give it a try for all Canadians!
