Bad food, Good environment
Classified (赤柱廣場)
2024-12-08
Have not been to at Stanley for more than 10 year. Happen to have chance to have a visit with friends and we just want to have a chill place to eat and chat. To be honest, the restaurant environment is nice, service is good, food is in big portion. But back to the basic of a restaurant, the taste of food is not even on an average standard. We ordered classified breakfast and egg Benedict. The dish looks nice, yet this is all the good point of it. The sour dough tasted like flour, it’s very soggy, the order food like the pouches egg and cherry tomato etc are all tasteless. I order this coz it should be very standard that I never had an egg Benedict that is “not nice”.My friend order of their classified breakfast. It’s should be their signature. Yet it’s really bad until my fd can’t finish everything even she is very hungry at that time. The pork sausage she said it taste worse than those hotdog from supermarket. Bacon is too dry. With a drink it’s around $230 each. I will say the price is pretty fair at that area with that environment. After the food, you definitely full yet when you think back there is nothing in your memories. …Read More

Nice food but Poor management
Tozzo
2024-11-18
Used to go between (the previous cafe in the same location) when I want a quiet place to chill with my friend. Last week we went to the same place and it changed to TOZZO. Same layout yet they added more red to represent the brand. The food here is definitely better than between. From the bread to the dressing and even the French fries at the side. It’s all details and make it taste very nice together. When we are having our meal there, we keep seeing staff asking customer to sit opposite to each other like they don’t want them to sit side by side even they are having outdoor seats with a view. I guess it’s an upper management policy to save more seat for peak hour. But the time when we visit was around 3:00pm which only a few of customer. …Read More

Cha Chaan Teng
2024-10-28
If you are thinking to try this local Hk cha chaan teng, I will say just save the money for better food. The food is not nice. The tea set is expensive with small portion. The only food that’s is consider average is the pineapple bun (bolo bun) which is still worth to try when you are craving for it.Menu without design which is very hard to read. No focus on it which is a bit hard for the first time visitor coz the staff keep asking you what’s your order once in a minute….Btw, they charge extra $1 for each person for nothing. (But they add $3 for 2 of us) And I’m not sure if they do it in purpose or what, if we didn’t ask about it, they charge us more than how much they should (refer to photo uploaded)There are a lot of better cha chaan teng in the area. Don’t waste your money here.…Read More

Nice environment
GOOCA
2024-10-28
Attracted by the environment of GOOCA and this is why we choose to have our coffee here for our first time visit airside. It was a Sunday afternoon and the cafe is full of people. We manage to get a window seat. The food and coffee is average. But the camping themed furniture and environment is worth for you to just take a moment to chill and have a coffee here.…Read More

Tasty and healthy Bat Kut Teh
Brick by Brick
2024-10-13
As a Hongkonger who stay in Singapore for more than 15 years and often go to Malaysia for food. I will say this Malaysian style of Bak Kut Teh is better than most of the “famous” shop in Malaysia.I went here before like a year ago. But this time when I return and try their food again, it’s really worth for me to write a review. The lady boss told me that they changed the recipe of their bak kut teh which make it taste better with more healthy ingredients (Chinese herbal). I can tell the “heart” of the food from the first sip of the bak kut teh soup. For laksa, personally I love Singapore style of laksa more (with more coconut milk taste) but their laksa is more fresh and light soup base which you can drink finish the soup easily.Highly recommend to those who want healthy and tasty food. I’m going to try their other food next time when I return. :)…Read More
