最近見到雜誌推介這間餐廳的egg benedict，決定將新春最後一天假期交由它來開啟 😇 店的門面裝潢蠻有法國氣式，是那種高貴優雅的小清新，裡面的裝修相比則有點失色了。早上11時多到達，店裡只有兩桌客人，已心感不妙，因此時可是brunch的黃金時間 🤔 點了Egg Benedict和Full Breakfast各一份，等了約10分鐘便已上菜。Egg Benedict上的沙律看上去就知不怎麼新鮮，菜偏乾且邊緣泛黃😯倒是煙肉煎得算香脆。主菜Egg Benedict用上了sour cream，味道不俗，唯不夠熱。下面的muffin過軟，麵包本身頗煙韌，乾濕剛剛好，但再微微烘底讓其更香脆，口感可以更豐富。Full breakfast plate有兩隻自選蛋(我們選了scramble egg）、醃肉、炸薯仔、番茄扒、蘑菇、茄汁豆、麵包，算是豐富🐷 但烹調比Egg Benedict更令我失望😐這裡的食物基本上都不夠熱，食材也不夠新鮮。番茄有點過熟，起沙情況頗嚴重；蘑菇不過不失，建議可以切大塊一點；滑蛋太熟了，切不夠味道、香氣均欠奉😞；麵包也烘得不夠脆（個人認為這其實是頗基本的工序）；至於薯仔，大概是最低分的，全無香脆之感，像是隔夜翻炸的薯仔，口感頂多只能說是焗薯，完全吃不出”fried”的特徵☹️整體來說，這次的brunch並不及格，無論是材料、烹調、味道全都尚有頗大改善空間。後來翻查open rice的食評，發現大家點的全是其他菜餚，建議大家來訪可以試試其他菜式。😀…Read More
