We stopped by at Soho spice for lunch and ordered the set lunch. That included a starter and a main course. We both started with a very nice salad. Mine was perfect with cucumber and octopus and my husband also enjoyed his. The maincourse came very fast, we did not even finished our starter! My husband had a nice bowl of noodlesoup, he really loves that and enjoyed it. I had rice noodle with shrimps and vegetables. I was much better than I expected for that price! We ended here on a ordinary monday. We know that our expat dinner card was valid here. With that card we get the second main course for free. There was no table left anymore, but we could sit at the bar. The light were very bright above the bar, we asked or they could put them softer, but that was not possible. We had both a very nice salad as a starter and the salads were really salads. Sometime you end up with a salad and then you miss the salad, but those starters were good! We really enjoyed them. We orded a bottle of red wine, the wine was to warm for us and we asked or they could chill the wine. That was no problem, the service was perfect. My husband had a big piece of meat as main and I had the steak tartare with fries. It tasted very good, only the fries were very small, to thin. I prefer them thicker, those were not representing real fries. After the main courses we ordered some red wine and cheese. The cheeses were good! For our celebration, we made a reservation here. We asked them or we could bring our own bottle, because we had a special vintage champagne for our celebration. Corkage free for sparkling wines is $100,- more than for other bottles (strange), but ok. We had a wonderful evening with delicious dishes. My ceasar salad was perfect and the meats for main course were perfect. I loved the four (or maybe five) different kinds of mustards that came with the meat. After that, we ordered a chocolate souffle that was marvelous, the best souffle I have ever had, really jammie!!! We ended with a nice cheese platter that we shared. We had dinner here on a wednesday. There was this special that you get 50% discount on bottles of wines. So we made a reservation to go there. We had a wonderfull dinner. Bread, olive oil, parmezan cheese and garlic are included the menu. I asked a starter salad as a main, so they made it bigger for me, that was no problem. After the dinner, we ordered another bottle of red wine and the cheese platter, that was also very good, we asked for some extra bread and that was no problem. The service was very good.
