It was our first time at this restaurant after seeing the Youtuber 大島田’s suggestion and was excited to try some authentic Japanese food for Mother’s Day celebration.Unfortunately, the food was quite underwhelming and rather pricey (given the quality, service, run down decor and location). I am familiar with prices of Japanese restaurants in Central and they are charging similar prices but I cannot say this is value-worthy.More importantly, I will not return to this restaurant due to the service attitude of one of its staff - which is a true disappointment from a Japanese restaurant which I believe prides itself in hospitality. One of the staff mistook my order and when the wrong dish came, another staff forcefully asked and begged us multiple to keep the dish since “it was already cooked” and it was “similar to what I ordered”. It was Mother’s Day so I did not want to make a scene but the way they “pushed” me to take a dish I did not want - definitely made it hard to swallow as I was not even offered the option to return it. In the end I paid for twice the amount for a dish that just made me shudder with frustration. Disappointing.
