放工後經常來此小餐館吃飯,感覺東涌除了這間 Sugar & Spice 跟大家樂,都沒有其他好選擇。店子細小,坐位很迫,所以以前侍應都比較燥底。近幾個月換了一班年輕人,有活力,服務改善了不少,會推介菜式又還會主動奉上冰水,還會跟街坊寒暄兩句,吃得高興。[念念不忘咖哩鴨]咖哩鴨是店子的新出款式,上星期吃過一次後念念不忘。今次再接再厲吃一次,拍拍照,寫食評。鴨肉是用新鮮鴨肉,不是什麼煙鴨胸,光是用料已經吃到質素。新鮮鴨肉吸收了咖哩的日月精華,吃上去滿滿的咖哩香。鴨肉本身味濃,不會比濃味的咖哩比下去,反而兩者很夾。今日的咖哩汁略稀,平日的比較濃厚,我喜歡較濃厚的,椰汁味很香。就算今日的咖哩汁較稀,都吃到椰汁和紅油的香,辣度適中,不會辣走味覺。還有配菜如泰國小矮瓜等等。[飛天通菜]必點的蔬菜。通菜爽脆,配上辣椒炒得惹味。看上去細細碟,但份量三個人都夠吃。上層放上了粒粒炸蒜,有口感。[芒果糯米飯]甜品當然是最想吃的芒果糯米飯。共有紫米和糯米,一次過滿足兩個願望。紫米較有咬口和清香。糯米則完全軟糯,而且完完全全吸收了椰漿的椰香。兩款飯都是熱騰騰的,吃上去十分舒服。而旁邊的芒果我會最尾吃,把芒果香留在口中。…Read More

很久沒到荃灣區吃飯,荃灣一直是美食之城,而現在有更多以前的死場轉了做食店,有更多選擇呢!我們選了一家餐廳吃火鍋。裝修十分型格,大型的燈飾加上高樓底,就像一個個煙花。而正中心有個音樂臺,每晚指定時間更有live 唱歌表演,很浪漫呢。椰子雞湯底,半份先上了一煲椰子水,待滾起後店員便幫我們加上半隻雞隻、椰子等等,然後熄火等8分鐘至剛熟。 椰子水味道濃香,而椰子肉是原個椰子出來,軟軟的可以吃掉,不是老椰子有啡色皮那種硬椰子。味道較甜。雞肉因是焗熟而不是煮熟,滑嫩是意料中事。見到雞隻中間的啫喱凝脂,雞件充滿雞油香。由於湯底偏甜,覺得豉油如果再吝一點會更好,現在豉油都偏甜。白鱔見白鱔和脆鯇的價錢只相差$10,當然點白鱔呢。在等待的時間中,見旁桌的脆鯇腩巨大無比,好像脆鯇都不錯呢! 而我的白鱔數量很多,新鮮脆身,吃很開心。手切肥牛很想點安格斯牛,不過價錢問題我們點了普通版肥牛。肥牛油花不俗,厚度適中。蔬菜盛盒餐牌上的蔬菜盛盒和菇菌盛盒,我們點了蔬菜,但見所有旁桌都是點菇菌呢,哈!蔬菜比較大份,粟米和南瓜很甜呢。手打丸火鍋必吃的丸類,手打丸起膠彈牙,蝦丸夠新鮮,蝦味濃。…Read More

最近見到很多「塩」字開首的居酒屋,一直好奇想去吃吃以塩做主打的日本菜,好像很沖繩感覺呢!雜錦魚生沙律,$88見到魚生沙律的價錢只是$88,我們立馬叫一客。不負眾望,魚生份量十分澎湃,有油甘魚、三文魚、吞拿魚、八爪魚等,所有我們想吃的刺身都有了。油甘魚切得十分厚身,咬下去魚油全爆出來了。茶壺海鮮湯,$48這個我在吃千多元一人的omakase 菜中比較糊吃,估不到居酒屋都有這心機菜,價錢還只是四十多元。海鮮湯清澈,內有大蜆、不同的魚肉、昆布等。味道鮮甜,值得推介。燒日本雞肝,$25x 2雞肝燒製後表面脆口,而內裡有肝狀的軟糯。表層有少少甜味,以平衡肝臟的甘苦。黑松露甜蝦卷,$68反卷內是蟹柳和青瓜絲,上放了厚厚的、打成蝦膠的生蝦肉,再加上黑松露醬,濃香有鮮味。椰子雪葩,$58最後回點了椰子雪葩,原個的椰子殻有足半個,滿滿的雪葩沒有太水太冰感,反而勁有椰香。滿足感滿分!…Read More

朋友話想食放題,於是上網search有什麼高質放題店,最後我地決定去有很多好評既神戶屋日韓放題,位於旺角兆萬8樓。可能平日關係,晚市放題雖唔使排隊,但高朋滿座。出乎意料地,座位間距大,坐得超舒服,隱私度高。我地一坐低,就有一些開胃前菜送黎,去睇下有什麼飲料先。餐廳有兩個自助大雪櫃既飲品任你選。我就要左香蕉味的忌廉溝鮮奶,試下新口味。侍應一開始會比三張order紙,有首輪刺身紙,訂座加推同日韓邊爐。除此之外,檯上仲有一大疊既order紙可以點。放題點少得刺身,擺盤好靚,食材新鮮。三文魚刺身口感軟滑,入口融化,清甜回甘。鮑片刺身鮮甜,仲有其他放題店少見既松葉蟹鉗刺身,所以再encore左鮑片同松葉蟹鉗刺身,實在好食。熟食方面,就點左燒鯖魚,鹽燒蝦,黃金芝士廣島蠔,味道都唔錯;最特別係吉列大蝦,芝士濃郁大蝦爽口。仲有清甜既烤有機菠蘿,超足料既豉椒魷魚鬚,炒得很惹味。再黎係韓式蜜糖芥末炸雞同炸得脆卜卜既吉列廣島蠔,嫩滑既日本芝麻雞翼,一定要試鐵板一口和牛粒,和牛粒煎的好入味,有肉汁。仲點左一系列既sushi,細細一個,可以試很多種類。最後再打個邊邊,有不同火鍋配料,哇,竟然有牛柏葉,海蝦,青口等。仲點左四款青菜,配上人參清雞湯,超健康的有沒有。再食個香芋味的脆皮雪條,完成滿足既一餐!…Read More

懷舊點心😊功夫心機時間俱備

小時候很喜歡和家人吃東海酒樓的點心,點心的造型每每很有心思,而且枱與枱空間比較寬闊,沒有太嘈雜的感覺。今次來到鰂魚涌的東海,參加這家分店的開幕禮,看見東海又將形象繼續增添活力,裝修又跟以前的風格不一樣了,感覺更儒雅,燈光柔和,配上大玻璃窗外的海景,嘆茶的心情更輕鬆。江南百花卷,$88先吃了幾款點心,最喜歡之一是江南百花卷。裡面包有蝦膠、豬肉等等,外層包上威化紙後炸,威化紙厚身而鬆脆,還沾有肉餡的甜香,比春卷皮口感更好。而蝦膠豬肉軟滑,還保留大量肉汁。懷舊千層峰,$55小時候還吃過千層峰,很久都沒見過了。豬耳的特點是脆口,以豬耳製成的「千層峰」卻是吃豬耳的另一境界,先將豬耳放入滷水汁煮半小時入味,切成一片片後再加入以雞腳和老雞煮成充滿膠質的雞湯,一起放入模具再切片。豬耳片顯出層層疊疊的紋理,每片都像雲石紋。入口時雞湯溶化,充滿雞湯嘅香甜,還有豬耳的爽脆。 比普通的一個滷水豬耳多了很多步驟呢。古法金錢雞,$88金錢雞沒有雞,由一層雞肝、一層瘦豬的肉眼和一層肥豬肉一起燒烤而成,再配上一層饃包。最喜歡的是大廚沒有「順應潮流」飛走肥豬肉,金錢雞的靈魂就是那塊肥肥的豬油香提升整個味道。豬肉用砂糖醃製至半透明的「冰肉」,燒製後會口感更為爽實,而跟雞肝的甘香混起,結實中而有爽脆,味道豐富。話梅豬手,$78豬手炆煮時加上了話梅,吃時有話梅的酸和涼果味道。豬手很重冰糖,炆得淋滑。一系列的懷舊菜式,著重細節,而且工序繁複,相信很多大師傳都未必懂得做,現在可以在連鎖酒樓有這些懷舊點心選擇,實在開心。…Read More
