A restaurant must pass by when cycling to Tai Mei Duk. We stopped by for some recharge and cold drinks.

Restaurant was cozy and could tell it's a family business. It was crowded with all the workers having enormous rice dishes. Honestly, their rice dishes were gigantic! Even a man couldn't finish all.

We ordered two bowls of simple udon because we weren't even that hungry especially under the heat.

Udon wasn't something special or al dante, but the portion was just right. Fried eggs were cooked perfectly with a runny yolk and crispy edges. Lettuce were freshly cooked. Whole bowl seems simple but there could be many ways to get wrong. Spiced pork cubes were again given in generous amount and not as oily as it should be. Not bad!

All food here required to wait at least 15mins as there's only one staff in the kitchen, but I'm sure their quality and quantity definitely worth it. Please be patient! Staff were trying their best and efficient too.
