I sat down at 1220 only to find that there were 7 other patrons and none of them had any food in front of them. It was not long after until I realized that the two si-fus were making very slow progress. One of them was a trainee so in reality there was only one of them preparing 7 lunch sets.
The si-fu apologized for the slow service and another 35 minutes later my selection of 8 pieces of sushi arrived. As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, I found the rice too 'sticky'. Another let down was the fatty tuna with spring onion rolls. There was very little sign of tuna. On the plus side, their sea urchin is one of the best I've had (and it was already sold out when I left).
Service on the whole, was excellent. My cup of tea was refilled frequently and there was no rush in sending you off. Remember, this was lunch hour and there were people waiting outside when I left.
It could have been just their bad day, or I just ordered the wrong stuff. However, given the huge number of Japanese restaurants in CWB (you would be amazed at the number of them in this building!), I would definitely try out other ones before coming back.
