Wanted something extraordinary yet familiar for the weekend around LKF, that's how I discovered this hidden gem on the right side of the slope. For main dish I originally wanted grilled Merguez ($160) but a Mixed Grill Platter came instead ($300) LOL Don't mind paying almost double cause it's really worth it! There was Lmab racks, two kinds of sausages, HUMONGOUS chicken fillet and very sweet grilled peppers! With the again, spicy (not hot) and flavory herbal sauce it was such a delight for a starving person just off from work (yes on a Sunday). Could barely finish it as we had main dish #2 coming up.

The Chicken Tagine ($200) (see video) with a dramatic opening of the cone shaped- lid was spetabular LOL It's like Curry Masala without chillie to be honest. Of course we don't usually see the lemon confit, artichokes and olives in Indian cuisine. The chicken thighs were sooooo soft and flavory we had to get another plate of pita bread to go with it!

For drinks we had the "Pharaoh eye" to with gin, rasberry liqueur and baileys (my favourite). Surprisingly it's garnished wtih rose petals which should have called "Rose Blossoms" or other girly names LOL
For mocktails we chose a very unique "Egyptian Mojito"- the healthiest choice ever made of lemon, lime and blended mint leaves and shaved ice! It's plain green and not sweet at all, perfect to balance off the heavy grilled platter!
