If all those previous negative reviews were true, Cafe A at Hotel Alexandra has truly turned it around. I was honestly a little iffy before coming, but now, I've only got good things to say. Large buffet spread with a good range of hot dishes, salads and desserts. Quick food refill and very prompt service. And the staff were extremely proactive. And the staff were extremely proactive. They took the initiative to offer me coffee and refill, and covered our jackets with coat covers. The chef at the carving station also asked me how I wanted my roast beef. It is these minor acts that make me feel like this hotel is really trying. I will surely visit again.
