Waso Café has a long history being named one of the best cha chaan teng places in the past. Since than a lot has changed, but it’s still a place to go at this price point. We ordered two sets of their signature pineapple buns with egg, butter and tomato and an iced Horlick and iced lemon tea. The pineapple bun was tasty, but we left a lot of crust at the table. The pineapple bun was still hot when we received. The Horlick had still some powder not dissolved. This is a minor thing, but it would be appreciated to get the drink powder fully dissolved. Also the drink was not very cold even though ice cubes were added. To summarize it’s a good value place if you are at MTR Hong Kong station.
