Tiger sugar has been a craze of hit recently. To kill time on Island area that afternoon, I lined up for the signature brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse ($30). It took 35 minutes from lining up to picking up the drinks. It only took 15 minutes from lining up to making an order but it took 25 minutes to wait for the production because quite a number of people ordered more than 4 drinks. The special part is that the bottom of the drinks (the bubble) is warm and the brown sugar made the tiger
Tiger sugar has been a craze of hit recently. To kill time on Island area that afternoon, I lined up for the signature brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse ($30). It took 35 minutes from lining up to picking up the drinks. It only took 15 minutes from lining up to making an order but it took 25 minutes to wait for the production because quite a number of people ordered more than 4 drinks.
The special part is that the bottom of the drinks (the bubble) is warm and the brown sugar made the tiger pattern. Shake it for a balanced temperature and enjoy. I am not a big fan of very sweet drinks so this is not really my cup of (bubble) tea when sweetness cannot be adjusted because of the specific formula.
Verdict: Not bad but I would rather visit til the craze thus queue fades.
