Sweet and sour pork on ice $128 [7/10]
S&S pork has always been my favourite Chinese dish but having it served on ice is actually my first time. It came bright and glossy on a bed of ice cubes accompanied with pineapple chunks and strawberries. A big juicy chunk of pork was enclosed in a thin and crispy flour casing. The sauce was not overpowering either. Tho I still prefer the traditional hot deep fried one!
Slow cooked red wine-Braised short ribs $328 [7/10]
The texture of the ribs is so soft and tender that they fall off the bone at ease. The sauce is so fragrant, with a slight hint of red wine taste.
Golden silky beancurd stick $68 [8.5/10]
Although the coating was thin and crispy, there could be more seasoning due to the rather bland taste. Tofu has a delicate, silky feel and a creamy taste.
Crispy egg noodles with shredded pork $118 [8/10]
Egg noodles were fried to a crispy texture, accompanied with lean pork strips and assorted vegetables.
