As really need to refresh myself over another 12 hours crazywork again, ordinary soup & vegetable should be the best way rather any other kind delicous foods, as remember a friend's recommendation, I went to this local cafe nearby in a late evening during amber-rain (actually change to red-rain during meal!)it is the first time I stay for dinner (last time is breakfast here), when I check the menu, price of individual set is in a middle level compare with the same area : but if set dinner which
it is the first time I stay for dinner (last time is breakfast here), when I check the menu, price of individual set is in a middle level compare with the same area : but if set dinner which include few more dishes like set of 2 is $158, it should become a kind of luxuray meal more than an ordinary cafe used to be, that's the reason why it didn't full house anydays during the week !I make up my mind to choose the brand-soup at last: pak-choi with pork-bone base, then a stirred fried e-fu noodle with sliced pork & black mushroom.
noodle come first which is too wet & quite big in size at my first sight: noodle taste light with egg & a little bit hard, but it's suit me as I didn't like too soft. Meat is tasteless with few light-green veg. which used combine with the fried noodlenot more than another 5 minutes, the brand-soup come as the photo show on the wall :
3 giant bones that really can serve with tube to suck for the fluid inside the bone the bone overall taste good though meat is rare on it! soup base is in light taste assume it's made of pork-bone in milky colour, but I wonder I can't taste any frangrance of pork at all which suppose I know it since my childhood time when grandma's homemade regulary! At the same time it's really another surprise when pak-choi is excellent fresh, good texture without sand (its not easily to clean!) which I dislike this kind of veg. normally!
during thunderstorm, few couple come in & out for their late meal too~ then I order one more interesting item: black & white mini-cube toast as my dessert
the outlook is not that tidy as the performance really messyI can see the worker far in front of me having quick chop skill divided the toast into 12 dices, lucky it's a thick one when he shake ovaltine over the condensed milk before the serving, be honest, it can be better if he keep the powder more even & cleansing the side of the dishes before it go! Anyway the taste & the texture of the bread as well as the concept of that snack is nice as a fullstop in that rainy evening!
