After buying some groceries at Mongkok Street Market, i decided to have my dinner first before heading back home. While walking along the street, i chanced upon this stall, selling mostly food using steamed method. 豐味蒸食 was located at Canton road, behind Langham Place Mongkok. They offered steamed rice roll, steamed rice, soup noodle, dumplings and drinks etc. They sold the concept on they cooked most of their food using steamed method, making it healthy and less oily. Iced honey lemon - It was sweet and refreshing, with strong honey taste, good for this hot weather.
Teochew style soup noodle - I chose two toppings, sliced pork and fish cake. Sliced pork and fish cake were chewy and juicy, and the soup was clear and sweet, with no MSG tasted. Vermicelli was smooth and chewy as well.
I ordered hand made pork with prawn dumplings and pork chives dumpling. The skin was thin and soft in texture, and the filling inside was juicy and fresh, going well with the vinegar provided.
Steamed rice vermicelli - This was one of their signature dishes as it was cooked with alot of vegetables in it and it was less oily as well. It was cooked till flavourful and tasty, chewy as well.
