They served side dishes, appetizer, oden, deep fried skewers and drinks etc.
Shortly after we ordered, they served us a plate of cabbage. It was fresh and crunchy, with special marinated sauce for us to dip into and was appetizing.
They have some homemade liquor and recommended us to try it. Umeshu was easy to drink and sweet in taste. with strong plum taste. Pineapple sake was sweet and fruity in taste, with strong alcohol content.
Cold tomato was served cold and juicy, fresh in taste. It was very appetizing and cooling.
Deep fried chicken wings were fried till the skin was crispy and yet the meat was still juicy and smooth, with sesame seed spread over it.
Conger eel - The skin was fried till thin in texture and crispy and was meaty and chewy.
Angel shrimp - The shrimp was huge in size and was chewy and juicy, fresh in taste.
Fried garlic was quite interesting as in we were eating the whole garlic, and was crunchy and having strong garlic taste.
Pork butt - The chef added a layer of BBQ sauce on top of it to make it flavourful. It was fried till chewy and crispy, with the BBQ sauce complimenting the taste.
Rice in bonito soup - The chef was generous with the serving of mentaiko, which was flavourful in taste. It blended in nicely with the rice, which was chewy and the soup was sweet and clear in taste.
