Not knowing much in advance, I picked the place just because we wanted a Dim Sum lunch in the mall (Elements) for a family member's birthday. Our request for a table near the windows was met.I would call the decoration post-modern Shanghai art nouveau - the interiors looked very relaxing and pleasant during this sunny afternoon. I would call the decoration post-modern Shanghai art nouveau - the interiors looked very relaxing and pleasant during this sunny afternoon. The services were competence and one could immediately feel that the frontline staffers were capably managed.
We picked most of their signature dim sums - the best among them were lobster dumplings, sea urchin spring rolls and black garlic siu mai. They were all delicious that came with little twists that worked really well. The most delightful part for me was the price. There were two elderly women among us so I couldn't try more items from the menu, but we all came out fully satisfied and the bill was no more than HK$1,000.
I would also like to give a compliment to a captain/manager (slim and dapper) who served us - while we were asking for recommendations for deserts, he said he noticed it was one of us' birthday and offered to treat us an item on the house. This along will assure a visit from us again in the very near future.
