It's been a while truly enjoying a meal. It's been a very long week that my dear colleague introduced this cafe during our lunch break. We were lucky to get a seat without any wait. My salmon ochazuke with temagotaki was served decent and neat. Salmon ochazuke was just right portion. A small bowl of well cooked jasmine rice soaking in some lightly seasoned broth. It's been a while truly enjoying a meal. It's been a very long week that my dear colleague introduced this cafe during our lunch break. We were lucky to get a seat without any wait.
My salmon ochazuke with temagotaki was served decent and neat. Salmon ochazuke was just right portion. A small bowl of well cooked jasmine rice soaking in some lightly seasoned broth. It wasn't tasted savoury but very light umami. Broth was also soaked with some 'pops' which gave every bite a little crunch. Love the thick cut rectangular grilled salmon. A stronger taste to lift up the dish and thus became a highlight of the whole main. It was cooked just right with lightly brushed teriyaki sauce.
Temagotaki was thoughtfully cut into pieces. Right amount of sauces with perfectly cooked soft egg. Absolutely delicious and hearty. Ice americano was a happy round up for my palate.
Whole experience was recharging and satisfying. Will definitely come back for more goodnesses.
