I have never sat inside this restaurant to eat so I did not experience the bad service other people are experience in their reviews. I have only ordered take away a few times from this restaurant but my experience with the cashier weren't that bad. I used to order in person at the cashier but the waiting time is actually a bit longer than other restaurants that cooks similar foods. So recently I used the openrice app to order in advance so I can pickup my food once I reached the restaurant most of the time, plus there is a welcome reward and have -$10 when using AliPay.
The food...well at least it's hot, it is understandable that beef is expensive and for that price, I wouldn't expect the beef to be served in piles. The 河粉 is quite oily, but that's the nature of the dish, so people who do not appreciate oil in their food should stay away. But if you like the dish and want to indulge yourself, occasionally... the quality and price are comparable. The milk tea is just like any other 茶餐廳's quality.
And if the food is not clean, I would know, because I have a poor stomach. And I can assure other people with similar problem, this restaurant is fine in that aspect (at least for this dish).
