Husband and I went for dinner as I saw they have crepe on the menu and we had a 15%off voucher. the menu was simple and a lot of dishes were crossed out, meaning not available. thus there were probably less than 15 main courses on the menu. Husband and I went for dinner as I saw they have crepe on the menu and we had a 15%off voucher.

the menu was simple and a lot of dishes were crossed out, meaning not available. thus there were probably less than 15 main courses on the menu. Husband wanted to order steak, the staff replied that there was no beef..... so we thought that there was no steak and burger which constituted to half of the menu.

Then husband ordered a pork burger noir, but the staff said they don't have this dish was not available
. So husband ordered a Danish pork burger. the staff then returned to clarify that they have beef patty, thus they have beef burger, Just no steak available. in the end we had a beef red burger, confit duck leg with orange sauce and onion rice on side dinner set (with soup, coffee/tea), and a honey and peach crepe as dessert.

Soup of the day was carrot cream soup. The soup was not creamy enough to call as a cream soup.

The confit duck leg with orange sauce and onion rice on side was in fact confit duck leg with MARMALADE
. Onion rice included rice crisp bit with several tiny dices of onion scrap
.

the beef red burger, claiming it was from Wagyu beef was dry and crappy, like ordinary beef patty
. the patty was rather thick, so compliments to that. The best food among the mains were French fries.

I knew I fell into a trap and wanted to cancel the dessert, but I thought maybe crepe was their icon. The honey and peach crepe came after 15 minutes of waiting. The crepe was stunningly crispy. It was 1mm thick and overcooked, thus it was crispy at the edge
. The crepe has no flavour at all apart from the whipped cream and the canned peaches.

Let's not talk about the service. It was only 2 tables vs 2 wait staff and they couldn't remember what each table had... and the conversation between the staff include occasional vulgarity....

I'm quite astonished at the number of smiles they got in open rice. Maybe it was Wednesday.
