Simply Life is a winning concept by Maxims.

I go to the IFC location when I'm feeling lazy and can't really think of where to eat.

I usually go for the Deli counter food and rarely go for the sit down order menu as I never really gotten an excuse or chance to yet.

They have a great location facing towards the harbour and floor to ceiling windows. Pity the construction in front right now.

The good thing about this place is that they make their baked goods and foods fresh.

The baking ovens are right behind the staff.
Fresh pizzas, quiches, pastries, salads, and soups.

My favourites here:

Sweet Potato Salad
- Nice touch of dressing and the Sweet Potato/Yams are roasted just right.

Pea Soup with Ham
- Really got the pea flavor there, maybe a touch salty for some people who aren't use to this soup

Fresh Croissants/Danish

My only comment is the quiches' tart is a bit on the thick side; can be quite a mouthful of tart pastry sometimes especially when its not the more flakey and buttery kind.

No major complaints here, it's a good concept with fresh food.
Prices maybe a touch steep but for anything similar to this in Hong Kong it's not bad at all.
