I still remember the days when frozen yogurt was a big hit and there were tons of froyo stores in Hong Kong.

Crumbs was one of the popular ones but I have never visited the shop as a close friend of mine said it was too sweet.

Recently I was dragged to crumbs by a friend to try the place out. We ordered a supersize to share and picked our toppings: mochi, crumbs, strawberries and mangoes.

The toppings were great, loved them. The frozen yogurt started off to be thick and tasty, but it soon became way to sweet for me. I have always been a sweet tooth but I have been growing out from it. The yogurt was simply too sweet that I stopped after a few scoops and let my friend finished it.

In my opinion yogurt is meant to be tangy and refreshing, but not sweet and thick. Why not go for soft serve ice cream if sweetness and thickness were the objectives?
