The last time we had Popeye's in Hong Kong it was at the airport. It wasn't that great but as it was the only place to get it, we always ended up eating there before a flight. Menu is in English and Chinese. They have a more extensive menu at the cashier. There is no 10% service charge.

Boyfriend had the Cajun Mixed Platter ($69) but as there was a voucher when at the mall, it only cost $50. This came with a piece of fried chicken, two Cajun chicken wings, 2 chicken tenders, Cajun fries, onion rings and a soft drink. The Cajun spices were pretty spicy. But the the chicken was pretty dry. The onion rings were soggy and the fries were limp.

I had two piece chicken set ($50). The meat here was also dry. As mine wasn't Cajun, the coating was pretty much flavorless.

It came with fries but boyfriend asked if it could be changed to cole slaw as that's an option in North America. We can change to cole slaw or mac n cheese. But as they don't serve mac n cheese here, I can only change to cole slaw. At first the staff said it wasn't possible and had to be a la carte. When boyfriend said forget it, we'll stick to the fries, they suddenly said for a $5 it can be changed to cole slaw. I guess I regretted the change. It was watery and absolutely not flavored. No tang that I love about cole slaw. The slaw itself was not even crisp.

The food was terrible. The chicken was  dry. The coating not that much flavor. Definitely won't be back.
