Bedu is now the second restaurant from Meraki Group that I have visited. Unfortunately, just like last time at Uma Nota, I was not particularly impressed. This will probably be my last visit to a Meraki restaurant.

I have been seeing Bedu a lot on my social media feed, and as a fan of Middle Eastern food, I was excited to try. The decor at Bedu is cozy, sophisticated, and intimate - an ideal place for a date! Even though the restaurant was very busy, it wasn't overwhelmingly loud and I could still hear my friend who was sitting across me.

On the other hand, the food was underwhelming. Everything was just OK, but missing that extra oomph. Maybe needs more seasoning? Or marinating? I don't know. You can definitely find better hummus elsewhere - again, don't get me wrong, the hummus wasn't bad, but we've had better. I guess the food here can be summed up as style over substance.

Overall, we had a decent time. We probably won't return, but we didn't regret giving this place a try. Special shout out to the staff for their wonderful service, and for giving us complimentary birthday shots! Cheers!
