I am a local HK person and obviously I have a HK face too. But I don't know if it really has something to do with tonite's service quality. Of course I hope not! However, I still feel that I need to show you the following review:
I went there for a beer with a local female friend of mine. We set down and ordered 2 bottles of beer. After sitting for 30 minutes only, a male waiter came to see us and asked if we wanted some more drinks. We politely refused because obviously we still had not finished our own bottles.
Then, the core part comes:
The waiter said, "In this case I am sorry but we need to make some space". I looked around and see there were plenty of seats available. Some customers even arrived way before us and the waiter only came to "invite" my friend and I to go away! But at the same moment my friend received a call and we had to join some other people. Therefore we left the bar without arguing with him.
However, the most important point is : My friend and I were the only Chinese-face customers in the bar and we chatted between us in Cantonese (at low volume), while other customers were all white. I don't know if it is really the reason for this "special invitation to leave the place". But if so, shame on this Soho Corner.

Don't worry betty blue hk . is not because you are local that you got that service .same thing happen to me and my friend last night and i am canadian.the waiter is an asshole , kick me out when my friend glass was still more than half full .so i said ok i take an other beer . than give me attitude and refuse to served me .and on top of it, i am a regular . i used to go there on sunday afternoon to have beer an relaxe . but never meet that manager . he try to explain to me because it's a small place . they said 30 minutes per beer is allowed .but what was funny is ppl next to me was there before us , and was also drinking the same beer .
