With an inconspicuous entrance, the restaurant appears to be relatively new with only a handful of guests by the bar, but our server was keen and helpful and, having had the pleasure of meeting with the chef, we might add that he seemed pretty passionate about his job. That being said, the food menu was definitely too limited in choice, and we thought the food was only just alright overall. My personal guess as to why the space was so empty: while Employees Only was trying to be both a bar and a bistro/restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong, it hasn't yet developed an edge in either.

Steak tartare was very good, and the thin-cut, crunchy baguette slices made excellent accompaniment.

Pastrami Sandwich
Reportedly made in-house, but we were disappointed. The meat doesn't bite away cleanly and flavor-wise we'd have liked something smokier. As the photo shows, this wasn't a very bulgy sandwich either.
