The upper floor- for dinner rather than drinks- is in a Dai Pai Dong style. I love all the tiny details in the decor, from the Chinese herbal medicine shelves to the prices on signs written in traditional Chinese numbers. The staff who served us were all super friendly and cheerful. Good vibes!

We ordered two potted dishes (in fact it was hard to pick- everything sounded so fun on the menu!): 8 Seafood Rice 8鮮過海 and Braised Lamb with Glass Noodles 順手牽羊。what I liked is that both have a hint of fusion dishes in them- the seafood rice has a layer of sour and garlicky touch, and it somehow reminds you of Paella. The seafood was fresh and went so well with the rice. Of course I liked the dried, crispy rice layer- the "burnt rice"- at the bottom of the clay pot too!

The lamb was VERY tender and went well with the glass noodles too. The noodles were understandably quite oily so I didn't manage to finish it.

Before we left, the manager Anthony treated us with an innovative dessert- it's the traditional sesame dumplings in ginger soup, but fused into a ball.

You need to eat the whole thing in one go and let it burst in your mouth. Fun! Will definitely go again.
