The service was exceptional, particularly from our waitress, 豆豆. She was attentive, considerate, and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Not only did she help us take photos, but she also provided great recommendations on the menu.
The Food
Brunch started with fresh oysters, which were a real treat and refreshing . The unlimited refills of appetizers were a great touch, and the salad, dressed in a refreshing yuzu soy dressing, truly whetted our appetites. The catch of the day crudo, paired with XO sauce was delicious.
For the main courses, we chose the pan-seared whole threadfin fish, which 豆豆 highly recommended. It was perfectly cooked, featuring crispy skin and smooth & tender meat. We also tried the roasted three-yellow chicken with Thai sauce make the dish very balanced . It was well-cooked and timed just right.
The brunch also included a dessert platter that was good ending.
Overall, I highly recommend brunch at Avoca. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a beautiful view makes for a wonderful dining experience.
