If you ask me where to find delicious Shanghai food, this place immediately pops into my mind. I posted this place last year and then paid countless visits here. Intense flavour from Huadiao wine that have immersed deeply to the pigeon.

Crispy skin and smooth texture. Great to share if you’re with a big group.
🥂Steamed Razor Clam with Preserved Vegetables and Shredded Bamboo Roots $78/pc
A bit disappointed on this as I prefer steaming razor clams with garlic and vermicelli only.

Nothing too special but went well with rice.

Could be more tender.

Hot and flavourful with intense crab roe flavour. Again, went well with rice.

Simple but appetising. It’s even better if you add some spicy sauce to it.

Rare to see ribbon fish to be served in a Shanghainese restaurant. Seasoning was great and very appetising, but be careful with all the little bones in it.

Favourite type of noodles from this restaurant. I could finish the whole bowl without sharing.
🥂Boiled Chicken & Wonton Soup in Casserole $268/half
Always a fan this soup, very flavourful and nice to have it in winter that it could warm your stomach instantly.

Traditional Shanghainese dessert but it could have more filling.
🥂Black Soybean Tofu Pudding in Wooden Bucket $98
Doesn’t look good at all but it’s very smooth in texture. Love it!
Though I’ve been for a lot of times, I still miss their food from time to time. Serving speed is a bit too quick so the dishes on the table is quickly cooled down, so avoid ordering everything at first place.
