When I saw their promotional poster, I just had to try it, they reminded me of those round fried Japanese mochi/rice cakes with the cheese in the middle and glutinous filling.Basically it is rice roll rolled with cheese inside coated with batter and fried.It tastes quite similar to the japanese mochi cake, however there is less glutinous filling replaced by the chewy mozarella cheese.The cheese taste wasnt that strong, and the sauce that came with it was the Japanese mayonnaise, making it taste

It tastes quite similar to the japanese mochi cake, however there is less glutinous filling replaced by the chewy mozarella cheese.
The cheese taste wasnt that strong, and the sauce that came with it was the Japanese mayonnaise, making it taste even more like that Japanese rice cake.
I would have preferred it if they used a different cheese, mozarella only has a chewy texture but no taste.
It is quite worth trying, and something that is quite different to the usual rice rolls.
