It has been ages since my last visit to Marugame Seimen, which was in fact in Sydney George Street. The chainstore features Japanese udon and a wide selection of side orders including deep fried goodness, sushi, onigini. There are a lot of udon choices with different soup base from the traditional clear soup to our Hongkongers' favourite tomato soup base.
Upon ordering any udon main items, you may add as many side orders as you want for a very affordable price.
If you are someone who need to eat rice on a daily basis, you may even get onigini from just $10!
If you want something naughtier, there are tons of deep fried items for you to add on top of your soup udon.
The restaurant embraces an open kitchen for customer to see how their food is prepared.
Everything was clean and the chef looked experienced in what they are doing.
In just a few minutes, my udon was already cooked upon order.
At the end of the banch table, we may take our own desired condiments, sauces, and toppings for our own udon soup noodle.

Since I like soya based product, I have also added two pieces of bean curd sheet for only $5 and it comes with two big pieces! What's not to love with that!?
