Agreed with the last review, I regret of not throughly finished reading all the comments before making reservation tonight.. Actually I was hoping to go to ApplX GrXXn but they're all full, & on one of the local food magazines, this restaurant is listed right besides apple green, & THEY STAT THE CHEF HAS SERVED 4 STAR HOTEL B4, so I assumed the quality shouldn't be that bad..I was so wrong.Anyways, I went with my female friend.. to make a long story short, and not to describe the bad decor, & s

Anyways, I went with my female friend.. to make a long story short, and not to describe the bad decor, & smell of bleach all over the restaurant, lack of basic food knowledge of waitress (e.g She claimed T bone steak & ribeye tastes almost the same & the only difference is they're cut from different body parts when we wanted to know the difference), let's just talk about their food
- King Prawn Caesar Salad $98 - WORST Caesar Salad I have ever had in my life!
I swear to God the smell of the dish makes me remind me of Worn socks which have not washed for a day or two. It's SUEN SUEN SOOK SOOK, & it's not coming out from the prawn but the salad. Despite the prawn actually didn't taste that fresh & a bit " Mui".
Anyways, I even dared to put one piece into my mouth and it just tastes really weird!
I politey asked a waitress in short hair to come over, and asked whether it's a special recipe & invited her to smell & she did, & after she smelled the dish, she then immediately frowned & asked for another waitres to come over for assistance.
This time it's an older lady. I asked her to smell and tell us what's going on..
Then surprisingly instead of telling me why, she started explaining the bits in brown is called Bacon, & the yellowish bits is called Cheese. ???!!!!
We then repeated ourselves that we have had Caesar Salad quite many times in our lives but never tasted and smelled like this. This lady insisted this is supposed to smell & taste like this with their special sauce....
Anyways, she was willing to cancel our order, then we got soooo concerned about our main dish.
Altho not as bad as the caesar salad, I can just tell you I'd rather go to CXfe De CorXl or FX Yuen Charn Tang instead of these pieces of XXXX!
Ribeye Steak (Around $110 for the set)- Nobody asked us how cooked we wanted, & turned out the default was 100% well done. We could only finish 1/3 of it.
Seafood with smoked Foe Grais Cream Sauce Angel Hair (around $110 for the set)-
Foe Grais tasted unfresh as well & so I only ate one piece.
The sauce tasted alright, and I took my risk to finish eating all the shrimps, pasta & one scallop ( out of two). I am still worrying something bad might happen inside my stomach..
For everybody's information, I and my friend ARE NOT picky eaters.
We just expect something costs $100 taste like it's edible. However, the whole experience is just terrifying. As said b4, there're many other restaurants out there way better than this one in lower price. (e.g. ChuX Wah, FX Yuen Charn Tang, DXlifrance..etc)
I would recommend ppl to please stay away from this place unless u 're going with a person whom you really dislike & wanna give them a hard time.
