This is the place I think of whenever we want "xiao lung bao" /Shanghai dumplings. It only has the one restaurant but their "xiao lung bao" are without a doubt better than all the big chains. The skin is made so thin yet elastic enough to hold the filling. This is another dumpling I highly recommend. Again tender meat filling wrapped in thin dumpling skin but drenched in a sauce that tastes like sweet soy sauce and mild chilli oil.

If you order this, keep the sauce. You can dip practically anything in that! Goes great with everything

Not what I expected. No saltiness, sweetness or spice but was very pastey - peanutty.

The filling was quite nice. Bits of crunchy vegetables stir fried with tender beef mince, well seasoned. But the pockets were dry, hard and tasteless.

Not as spicy as it looks. In fact for me it wasn't spicy enough and a little too bland aswell.

These little nuggets weren't bad. Hot and crispy on the outside, succulent in the middle, seasoned with salt, pepper and spice.

Too bad it had more batter than chicken.

To summarise, this restaurant has a large menu but not everything on it is as fantastic as the dumplings. (If they were, I think you would have to fork out quite a bit more!) But that doesn't stop me from coming back
