Located in MCP Discovery, we saw a nice cafe with open wooden decor named Dau. It looked pretty and we decided to sit down for some food. Upon glancing at the menu, we discovered it was actually a cha chan teng with a few toast and western selections, giving it a pseudo-cafe vibe.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. You order by scanning a QR code and pay on your way out. The QR code menu is in English and Chinese and is very easy to use and smooth.As it was afternoon

As it was afternoon tea time, we ordered from the afternoon tea menu.
Boyfriend had the Taiwanese Fried Popcorn Chicken with Ramen Soup ($40). It was served separately so the chicken was still crispy.
The portion of noodles was generous. There was some bok choy on top as well. The noodles were very good. A thin Taiwanese style buckwheat noodle. The soup had a slight mushroom flavour.
There were several good portions of chicken. Skin was very crispy and the meat juicy. It was generously seasoned iwth shichimi seasoning.
I had the Fried Rice with Sakura Shrimp and BBQ Pork ($46). Again portions were generous. It tasted really good. Well seasoned, not oily and lots of sakura shrimp. Bits of finely diced long beans to give it crunch.
Food was good and everything arrived smoothly. Place was comfortable and clean. Prices reasonable and portions generous. Would definitely be back.
