Le 188位於酒店的41樓頂層,甫入餐廳,眼前是270度全維港闊銀幕,藍天白雲,觸手可及;官塘、尖東、北角到西環俯首足下。難得的是通道寬敞,餐桌疏落有致,且全都是靠窗邊位置,與海為伴,友人先給予50分選址獎勵。餐桌是白色雲石矮腳圓枱,配紫色絲絨大椅。桌面上晶瑩的玻璃瓶中,擱一朵淡紫惠蘭,浪漫總在不經意間。矮桌進餐有點風險,不是太多人喜歡,但卻揚溢慵懶寫意,與星期天的中午是絕配。午餐是semi-buffet,298元,包括自助頭盤沙律和甜品,六款主菜可供選擇。若不點主菜,只減50元,所以策略極為明顯。我們點了燴羊膝及佛羅倫斯三文魚。頭盤絕不馬虎,生蠔、翡翠螺、青口、蜆、酥皮盒、芝士、風乾火腿、三文魚生、壽司、鮮蝦等。值得一提的是麵包頗有水準,或柔軟、或脆脆、或鬆化,種類也多,吃自助餐不應只向貴的鑽。生蠔是小型品種,鮮而略帶海水味,蜆的體積卻頗為龐大,膚色白皙柔軟,令人垂涎。主菜是低溫燴羊膝,配薯仔蓉、珍珠筍、銀魚柳及露筍仔。羊膝肉質嫩滑,不重口味,香港人可能略嫌淡口。另一道主菜是佛羅倫斯三文魚,三文魚由波菜作底,四只鮮紅青椒半圓排開,深黃色忌廉汁圍繞,賣相很吸眼球。友人大讚三文魚鮮軟幼

以半自助餐來說,Le188的甜品吧是一倘味覺與視覺的豐收,朱古力和芝士蛋糕五色紛陳、fruit tart、焦糖燉蛋、Paris Brest、泡芙…等琳瑯滿目。要令一眾甜品粉絲動容的,應是Mövenpick雪糕。我們取了麵包布甸、芒果拿破崙、Tiramisu和芒果布甸。友人最讚嘆是芒果布甸,很有芒果的香味和質感,雖略為過甜,她說是一次豐腴的芒果之旅!
檸檬茶還奉上純檸檬汁,欣賞位!

餐飲點了凍檸茶,杯中己盛有數塊檸檬片,但竟然還有一瓶精緻的純檸檬汁另上,讓顧客調較檸檬之濃度,天使都出現在細節中!甜品過後,肚子都填得滿滿的,竟然連Mövenpick雪糕也容不下,帶著點不捨而結帳。

Le 188充滿優閒和空間感,且有難得的寧靜,食物和服務都是五星級酒店水平,取價也相對合理。也許是一頓盛宴、也許是一天假期,也許是友人的生辰,世界好像一下子變得美好起來!
