Everybody going up North for short trips, making me crave the taste of country, yet I was too lazy to renew my home return permit, so here I am to have an authentic bowl of Chinese rice noodles! Vast toppings included tomato, chives, beef, long seaweed kelp, and the iconic greyish smoky black fluffy beancurd, it was like a pillow that has been soaked in the flavourful soup for long enough, I wish to have one more cube. Kindly adjust the level of numbness and spiciness to your liking, because it’s crucial to elevate your noodles.

On the side was cold-served peppercorn marinated cotton tofu. It has a little spicy kick, with texture inbetween tofu and fish cake. This was extremely addicting and I liked them a lot.

Still sleepy in the mid-day? Try also their house coconut latte, it's legit- you can tell the balance of coffee and coconut milk, the recipe was just right and perfecting quenching the spice from the food. A worthwhile experience since I can skip the hassles going through the busy border, and still be able to enjoy a legit bowl of noodles that reminds me of the taste of my country.
