今日前往該店享用午餐,所點菜品中包含一道中式蝦。該菜品中的蝦未經煮熟便被端上餐桌。客人向餐廳反饋此問題後,經理的即時應對方式是前往廚房試吃該蝦。他聲稱試吃完畢,堅稱蝦已煮熟,始終不承認其為生蝦。

此外,經理未經同意,將該蝦帶回廚房,拒絕交還客人,此舉存在毀滅證據的嫌疑。客人當即要求經理立即將蝦取回,不可自行處理該問題食品,並聯繫了食品環境衛生署的督查到場調查。

此次事件中,餐廳存在兩點明顯問題:

經理的處理方式嚴重不當。同一碟菜品,經理僅通過在廚房試吃便斷言蝦已煮熟,與客人所體驗的「生蝦」情況完全相悖,未正視客人反饋的食品安全問題。

已上桌的菜品為客人的食物,在未與客人協商調解的情況下,餐廳擅自處理存在問題的食品,該行為有「毀屍滅跡」、掩蓋問題的嫌疑。

綜上,該餐廳的食品安全管理與服務處理均存在重大隱患,不建議再次光顧。食品安全至關重要,需優先為自身健康考慮。

Today, I went to this restaurant for lumch, and one of the dishes ordered was shrimp. The shrimp in this dish was served to the table without being fully cooked. After the customer reported this issue to the restaurant, the manager's immediate response was to go to the kitchen and taste the shrimp. After tasting it, the manager insisted that the shrimp was cooked and refused to admit that it was raw.

Furthermore, after tasting the shrimp, the manager took it back to the kitchen and refused to return it to the customer, which was suspected of destroying evidence. The customer immediately requested the manager to retrieve the shrimp at once, forbidding the restaurant from handling the problematic food on its own. The customer also contacted inspectors from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to come to the scene for investigation.

There were two obvious problems with the restaurant in this incident:

The manager's handling method was seriously inappropriate. Regarding the same plate of food, the manager claimed that the shrimp was cooked just by tasting it in the kitchen, which completely contradicted the customer's experience of the "raw shrimp" and showed no regard for the food safety issue reported by the customer.

The food served on the table was purchased by the customer with payment. Without negotiating and mediating with the customer first, the restaurant arbitrarily handled the problematic food, which was suspected of "covering up the evidence" (literally "destroying the body and eliminating traces") to hide the problem.

In conclusion, this restaurant has significant risks in both food safety management and service handling, so it is not recommended to patronize it again. Food safety is of utmost importance, and priority should be given to protecting one's own health.
