乍暖還寒的三月初,坐到陳記最外邊的兩個面壁座位,感覺着街外行人在身旁怱忙經過,突然很慶幸自己有這樣的閒情逸致。
作為 early dinner, 兩個人叫了腸粉魚蛋燒賣和兩碗豆腐花。魚蛋彈牙,沾了鼓油的燒賣不算驚艶但亦不會令人失望。腸粉香滑幼細,配上無敵的醬油組合:甜鼓油+花生醬+甜醬...不言而喻
和其他地方的豆腐花不同,陳記的豆腐花永遠帶有微焦的香味。香軟滑溜不在話下,稍帶薑味的黄糖水更是錦上添花。叫一碗熱的,不用另加糖漿或黃糖已經美味得令我覺得十分幸福。每隔數分鐘便有穿着校服的中小學生「唔該一串魚蛋吖」、「唔該一碟腸粉吖」的聲音,感覺份外親切。
吃豆腐花,還是要到街坊小店如大埔亞婆和何文田陳記才有感覺。味道可能不是最出眾,但總覺得這些地方才是豆腐花 happily ever after 的歸宿。不需要大富大貴萬人景仰,就這樣有默契地平淡而甜蜜便心足了。
