對朗廷酒店有一定的好感,由首訪的貴氣英式下午茶,及至二訪的美式漢堡餐廳,食物水準都令人滿意。這次選上的Bostonian Seafood and Grill主打多國菜,有着先前的良好印象,也就更令人感到期待。Bostonian Seafood and Grill位處於酒店的地牢樓層,跟廷廊的英式貴氣,Main St. Deli的輕鬆悠閒相比,有截然不同的風格。工業風的裝潢,配上藝術風的掛畫,是品味的低調呈現。星期日下午供應半自助早午餐,成人每位$648包含自助頭盤、餐湯、主菜、甜點和飲品,光顧的客人也真不少,氣氛熱鬧卻不覺喧鬧。Brunch由自助頭盤開始,有沙律、海鮮、刺身、熱葷、芝士等選擇,貴精不貴多,走精緻路線。整理質素偏高,不覺追加了三輪才罷休,其實往後尚有份量十足的主菜,若然胃納不多還是留肚為妙。凍海鮮部分最為精彩,除龍蝦、翡翠螺、大蝦外,有三款不同產地的生蠔供應,頗受食客歡迎,不過在密密追加下,一定能嚐遍三款生蠔,新鮮程度要吃上最少半打才罷休。除凍海鮮外,也有焗生蠔和烤扇貝供應,意外地相當美味,特別推介焗生蠔,蠔身肥美而蠔味重。特別鍾情兩款沙律,分別是貓耳朵沙律和青蘋果雞肉沙

事前不知道除自助頭盤外,主菜奉桌前會奉上餐前小食,沒有「留肚」的我看到這二輪頭盤有點措手不及。

第一款香蒜焗龍蝦配磯煮飽魚,比自助頭盤凍食的龍蝦更見出色,龍蝦鮮味更突出,黄澄澄的蟹膏又香又軟,而磯煮飽魚亦同樣鮮甜

另一蟹餅配鴨肝款亦同樣不俗,蟹餅滿滿都是鮮拆蟹肉,而對於喜歡鵝肝的我來說,那鴨肝多士若然以鵝肝取代便更為理想。

雖然甚愛牛扒,但Brunch的内容物實在豐富,因而選了更有特色的威靈頓牛柳。牛柳以酥皮裹着,外層烤至金黃色,內裏仍保持肉嫩。牛柳肉味濃,肉質有彈性。酥皮十分脆身,釀入巴馬火腿及蘑菇,吸收了牛柳的香味更加滋味。

Jell-O就是小時候常吃的啫喱,草莓的的甜膩該屬小孩的口味吧!Hazelnut Cake口感鬆軟,只是沒有很特別。Profiterole的泡芙外層脆感十足,開心果忌廉柔滑得很。Baba Lemon那綿軟的蛋糕以檸檬蜜醬浸透,蛋糕濕潤度有點過了,這口感實在是吃不慣。

早午餐總會比午餐豐富,卻料想不到會豐盛至此。不過難得假期,像這樣放慢用餐的步代,盡情吃喝談笑一番,也是賞心樂事呢。
