in case you do not know, cheung po tsai was a notorious pirate who hid in and operated from a cave on the cheung chau island long time ago. my point is, this restaurant bearing his name is a real treasure on the island today!this place is clean, neat and filled with special wooden furnitures and decors. despite the small size, it is very comfy and relaxing. if you look for city style cafe/bar on this fishing village island, it is an oasis among all the other chinese style local joints.i got my r

i got my real ice-cold beer. she got her tea set with strong coffee and western cake. the a/c was strong enough for this hot & humid day. the view of the harbor front during late afternoon was priceless.
i heard that the hands-on owner is a westerner who speaks perfect cantonese. that really breaks up another rumor that the cafe is opened by cheung po tsai's descendents!
