鰂魚涌糖廠街的 Mr & Mrs Fox,從來都深得我歡心,久不久就會拜訪;最近餐廳請了來自墨西哥、曾擔任 St. Regis Punta Mita Coralina 餐廳主廚、又到法國學藝的 Alfredo Perez Gomez 加盟,菜式更有驚喜了!  地少人多、租金超高昂的香港,今時今日已經很少三層高的餐廳,這裡可算是異數。穿過地下酒吧,今次在同樣是高樓底的二樓餐廳用餐,氣氛輕鬆無拘束,整餐都吃得聊得甚愉快~ 一如店名,餐廳單也分為 Mr Fox(海鮮及牛扒)及 Mrs Fox(手工雞尾酒、凍肉拼盤及小食),十分有趣。我們當然兩邊都有選點,大團圓(講的是肚腩呀)最是歡樂嘛~ 先選飲品,餐飲酒類選擇極為豐富,不過我看中了 Tiki Promotion 的 Itloog ($70),是一杯以黑茶、綠茶、蘋果、蜜核、檸檬加 Aged Rum 沖製的雞尾酒,以茶香為主導十分清新,同時入口又有果香及隱約酒香,非常易入口,很推介女生享用! 接著上檯的麵包也很吸引,塗上軟滑牛油更是邪惡,我用了好大念力才控制自己只吃半件。去到由醃甜菜根、金菜頭醬、黑橄欖粉、紅菜頭脆片加烤芝士沙律組成的健康

接著上檯的麵包也很吸引,塗上軟滑牛油更是邪惡,我用了好大念力才控制自己只吃半件。去到由醃甜菜根、金菜頭醬、黑橄欖粉、紅菜頭脆片加烤芝士沙律組成的健康 Garden Salad ($128),就不怕多吃;其中烤芝士的滋味一流,愛到不行啊!

再來 Hamachi Terrine ($148),油甘魚吃得多,這樣加檸檬汁、調味牛油果、乾蔥、柚子醋、脆紫菜炮製的則是第一次,酸香的滋味頗有南美醃海鮮的風味,很有異國情懷的一道菜。

接著是個人最愛的 La Provence Beef Tartare ($98),生牛肉他他本身已經好吃,再加上烤得極脆的蒜茸鄉村麵包、煙燻紅椒粉黃蛋醬,滋味更上一層樓,超回味的說~不怕邪惡的,加一小匙牛骨髓,酥香油潤,美味升仙了!

來到主菜環節,先由 Pan Roasted Sea Bream ($228) 開始吃起。海鯛魚十分新鮮,富有肉汁又有誘人脆皮;同上的蒜香魷魚、番茄丁、野米、海草沙律也滋味清鮮,整體味道令人滿意。

狐狸愛雞,來到 Hen of the Woods ($228),果然甚有驚喜!烤春雞皮香肉嫩不得了,配上野菌有種令人吃不停口的魅力;而旁邊由半熟水煮蛋、藜麥、黑松露、香草也非常好吃,是一款值得大家記住並選點的優秀菜式。

最後當然不能錯過 16 OZ / 450g Strip Steak ($480),餐廳從來以 Dry-Aged 牛肉馳名,而來自牛前腰脊的 Strip Steak 口感柔嫩,Marbling 均勻又帶嚼勁,肉味濃郁,幾乎不用點醬也很可口;配菜的烤車厘茄及烤蒜也是美味不得了,我忍不住吃光了!

除了美味的主菜,也要推介一下這裡的 Side Dishes ($60@),首先必試天使魔鬼混合體的 Creamed Spinach:菠菜雖然健康,但從來都是不好吃的東西,不知那個天才發現了它混合忌廉(大概還有芝士)來煮,美味與脂肪指數同時暴升!

另一必試推介是 Mashed Potato - Truffle ($60+20),很相信純牛油的薯泥也會不錯,但加了松露的版本,的確奇香襲人,我的天,邊寫文時口水也忍不住滴了下來....

來到甜品環節,首先有 Baked Alaska,個子不會太大正合意,而且中間除了香蕉雪糕,又巧妙加進冰凍乳酪,連同八角脆餅、香蕉乾碎片及楓糖珍珠粒,口感及味道都很豐富!

另外也品嚐了由榛子、浸漬野莓、意式奶凍、蛋白脆餅、青檸及香草組成的 Eton Mess,豐富的果香及層次感十分討好;最後由白朱古力慕絲、黑海鹽、啡糖杏仁瓦片及香草組合的 White Fox 也質感柔滑、甜香美味妙極。

無可否認,個人對西餐還是有份偏愛,而新廚 Alfredo Perez Gomez 的演釋也令人非常滿意。希望在接下來東歐之旅中,也會遇到同樣出色的餐廳!
