To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

很多人都視海鮮款式多少和新鮮度去平衡能唔能夠翻本的象徵。餐廳一共供應長腳蟹、麵包蟹、龍蝦、翡翠螺、熟蝦和青口等六款,眼見除了麵包蟹外,其餘都補給得很快,唔使驚手快有、手慢無。

當中試了龍蝦和熟蝦,龍蝦的橙紅色的蝦膏勁多,鮮味非凡。熟蝦也很想像中大隻,鮮甜爽脆。

熱葷方面,款式也不少的,例如有應節食品的原隻燒烤火雞,另外還有燒新薯、醬燒豬排骨、香煎龍脷魚、西蘭花炒蝦仁、薑蔥蟹鉗、野菜天婦羅、頭抽王煎蝦、燒羊脾配Rosemary、泰式咖哩雞肉、炒飯。至於餐湯,這晚則有龍蝦龍湯和蓮藕排骨湯 兩款。

甜品方面,餐廳放上大大個薑餅屋曲奇餅的擺設,貫徹聖誕主題,當中有朱古力樹頭蛋糕、瑪德琳蛋糕、貝殻蛋糕、芒果拿破崙、Tiramisu 、焦糖燉蛋、士多啤梨奶凍、特濃朱古力蛋糕、雜果忌廉撻、麵包布甸拌雲呢拿汁、葡撻、雜莓撻、木糠布甸、北海道3.6牛奶布甸、士多啤梨海綿蛋糕、芒果布甸、黑白朱古力慕思蛋糕、焦糖咖啡蛋糕等。另外少不了的是朱古力噴泉,配有棉花糖、菠蘿、哈蜜瓜、蜜瓜和西瓜等。

貝殻蛋糕富有牛油香,表面灑上的糖霜令甜度增加不少。芒果拿破崙是眾多甜品之中較為出色,無論酥皮和吉士配搭甜度方面都很好,酥化不腍,芒果肉熟甜不酸。麵包布甸拌雲呢拿汁,麵包經過烘焗後微微散發一陣麵粉烤香感,再拌入提子乾和雲呢拿汁,濕濕軟軟、甜香更出色。

焦糖燉蛋,燉蛋充滿滑滑嫩嫩質感,表面的焦糖薄身微脆,帶點黏牙的甜性,但若然採用獨立一小個杯裝分開上感覺更衛生乾淨。葡撻表現不過不失,略嫌不夠熱。雜莓撻,牛油餅底較為散爛,牛油香亦不足。

最後的甜品當然唔少得雪糕環節,有Movenpick和Dreyer's兩個大牌子,味道亦較新鮮和多款,例如士多啤梨、朱古力、奶凍布甸、開心果、黑糖抹茶、藍莓芝士和芒果等。最欣賞是採用獨立杯裝,不像以往使用家庭裝雪糕用鐵匙撈起雪糕般麻煩。
