To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 見習老人窮遊長洲,想掃街擋,在海傍發現小食店,看看餐牌……每一道都想食,於是下午三時,在海傍小店把街邊小吃當成幾道菜的大餐。十二月天仍偏熱,老人家上山燒烤又帶叉又帶炭,在小店吃燒烤就舒服多了,先來個烤粟米及烤春蛋,然後點幾味串燒肉類,味濃的肉食伴檸檬沙冰再加個豬排包,最後來一客脆皮甜心的牛油蕃薯春卷充當甜品。兩老食量不大,寧吃得精緻點,兩人小食多款,慢慢品嘗,有吃大餐的感覺。守店的姐姐很細心,也讚一個!行山後又翻尋味,幸好!沒錯過長洲大魚蛋,一份兩大兩小,剛好對比出大小的分別,平常魚蛋太小,濃濃醬汁掩蓋了魚蛋味,大魚蛋咬開後醬汁外掛,魚蛋白滑,質地細緻而彈牙,好Q好味!
